Something to think about Nugget “Fail or Pass”

Today I want to talk about” Fail or Pass”

During the course of our lives so much is expected from us.  Whether we ourselves are expecting to fail or past the truth is we are either going to do one or the other.  I choose to succeed in passing every day.  Yet I must admit sometimes it’s easier than other days.  We wait in hoping that when the end of the day has come, we will have succeeded in all.  However, throughout my day from morning till evening I’m praying “Lord help me”.

I have found out in the past times of my life and recently this week I have failed.  I failed in being human.  Let me explain.  I wear many hats!  I’m a mother, grandmother, wife, first lady of my church, pastor, prayer intercessor, administrator, student, friend and the list goes on and on.  Trying to wear all these hats at once pulled me in many directions and the pull was so hard this week that I lost ME. I was trying to be a super human and sadly to my dismay I forgot that I am only human.

With tears rolling down my cheeks, frustration spilling over and my heart being overwhelmed, the scripture Psalms 61:2 came flooding in me.  It reads” when my heart is overwhelmed (stressed out) lead me to the rock that is higher than I”.  David referred to God as the rock.  I decided to intercede for myself in prayer, mother myself, love on myself, put myself first, befriend myself, administrate for myself, and finally allow myself to be taught.  Yes, a hard lesson I struggled with this week.  The test came and I failed but now that I studied me more, I get a chance to take the test again and this time I will pass.

Maybe you failed this test too but it’s not over.  Study the lesson (which is yourself) and prepare to take the test over and with the new knowledge declare you too will pass.  Together lets allow God to do us instead of us trying to do us.  After all we are only human and He is SUPERIOR!

Be Blessed and Always Remember to Bless God!

Your own write up is often a fine illustration of it.

  5. I noticed your site does not have a way for visitors to give you feedback. Feedback is a critical way that is free for you to retain your visitors, gain new visitors, and improve your site. I’ve just launched a plugin for Worpdress at http://www.feedbackplugin.com and I also offer a short video that shows how it works and why this is what I consider the most important WordPress plugin you will ever come across. I’d like to invite you to check it out if you are interested in improving your site for your visitors which will result in many benefits for you.

Hi Allen thx for your comment. However, if my site didn’t have an engine where viewers could not give feedback, you and I would not be having this conversation, now would we? Thx again.
