There are several types of prayers.  There are prayers of adoration, thanksgiving, forgiveness, supplications, intercession to name a few.  What determines if my prayers are heard and answered?  Is it the length of prayer that I pray?  Is it how and what I pray?  Finally when should I pray?  We should be praying for ourselves and others always!!!  Even when we don’t know what to pray we have not been left alone.

BIBLE FACTS

Romans 8:26-27 states “The Spirit Itself” makes intercession for us when we don’t know how or what to pray

Luke 18:1, Luke 21:26

Jesus Himself tells us to pray always.  He didn’t give a length therefore we just were instructed to pray.

 Mark 14:32, 36 here we see Jesus praying for Himself  

John 17 here we see Jesus praying for His disciples (mankind)

  Daniel 6:10 states Daniel chose to pray three times a day

I could go on and on listing scriptures that speak of prayer however, the point I want to make is best determined in John 15:7 which states:  If ye abide in me and my words abide in you; ye shall ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you.  Therefore if we follow these Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth (B.I.B.L.E.) Our prayers are not just dangling in the air going unanswered or unacknowledged.  That is far from the truth.

 

Rev 5:8 states there were golden vials that held odors in them which were the prayers of the saints.

Rev 8:3 states those prayers were offered upon the golden altar upon the throne (of God)

Rev 8:4 states the prayers of the saints ascended up before God

NOW YOU KNOW SO LET’S GET TO PRAYING, GOD BLESS AND ALWAYS REMEMBER TO BLESS GOD!!!

    Just goin thro the web and landed here. I am a christian and i am so glad for this message. I think one killer weapon for a christian’s faith is lack of prayer. let us pray always because this is how we commune with our heavenly father and with the lord Jesus Christ. thanks sis Vyette.

    I do love the manner in which you have framed this challenge plus it does supply us a lot of fodder for thought. Nevertheless, because of just what I have observed, I only hope as the responses pile on that people remain on issue and not start upon a soap box associated with the news du jour. Yet, thank you for this excellent piece and even though I can not go along with the idea in totality, I regard the point of view.

    Most of what you claim happens to be astonishingly appropriate and that makes me ponder why I had not looked at this with this light before. This piece really did turn the light on for me as far as this particular issue goes. Nonetheless at this time there is actually just one issue I am not really too comfy with and whilst I try to reconcile that with the core theme of the issue, allow me see what all the rest of your subscribers have to point out.Nicely done.
