Today I want to talk about “Passion”
I just am so elated to announce I finally started my business and it is doing well. When you have a passion for something and you are good at it, most times it will turn out to be something great. We have dreams but then there is passion and to me passion is stronger than a dream. Passion is so strong it can be tasted within your very being.
Passion states that by any means necessary etc… I had been talking and dreaming a long time about my own business but until my dream and desire went to passion it wasn’t happening. I would start and then place it on hold knowing that eventually I would pick it up again. I would always find myself coming back to it. Never able to see it just sit dormant too long. I was doing other daily things and enjoying them but there was always an incompleteness. I was doing what I liked to do but not what I loved to do.
Finally after years passing by quickly than I expected I was now in 2011 and nearing 2012. I reminded myself I had made a promise to myself and my deadline was approaching. Then suddenly orders started coming and people were ready to see my products. This request catapult me into whole heartedly moving into my passion. Passion encouraged me to go forward immediately. I had made up my mind and set my goal and declared “Shades of Purple Dawn” was desperately awaiting to be come through the birth canal. No longer a dream, desire or conversation. Passion had consumed me but not overwhelming me. I thought I would have to place other things on old but in reality I didn’t need to. I proved to myself I could do it all as long as I had a plan and it was filled with passion.
I now have my own legit business and I can report that it is doing well. This brings two scriptures to my mind and I share them with you.
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” KJV
Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ”. KJV
If you take these two scriptures and combine it with your passion, I am a witness you will SUCCEED!
