Its God’s Business

Yvette’s Nugget
A transparency moment.👀
This one is lengthy. My words had to be chosen carefully with truth and love because I really care about others and I don’t want any of us to miss God in any way 💜.

“Are you guilty of self righteousness or sanctimoniousness” ?
Sometimes we’re adamant and/or judgemental towards others. Even when we say I’m not judging but……..

👂🏾Depending on how we say it, sometimes our questions and comments such as; how could they, I can’t believe they, I knew they etc depicts otherwise. 🙏🏽Tread lightly because if we’re not careful we may find there is a possibility UNAWARE to US, self righteousness and sanctimonious is lurking in US . We don’t want that to overtake us and and become an ugly characteristic that will lead us into dark places where only God can get us out. The truth of the matter is you or I may not have done what others have… Umm and So what🤷🏾‍♀️… Even truer I’m sure there’s something(s) we have done that we regret and may even still be trying to get through. We may not want to remember those things. The question we should ask ourselves is “are we guilty 😔 of the above, causing others to be victims of our judging”. Have we considered the individual maybe struggling trying to get themselves together (possibly like we are or was). Trying to forgive themselves and more than likely asking “themselves” the same questions some of us are asking? Even if this is not the case who are we to judge? How about
what’s even more relevant is GOD HAS FORGIVEN THEM!!! Yet we’re still talking about THEIR PAST

We’re going on what we may know or heard to be true. But every time their name comes up it’s not necessary for us to bring it back up. How dare we and who do we think we are? I can talk about this because sadly, I remember hearing God clearly in my consciousness ask me “How dare you and who do you think you are ?
I’m not proud, unfortunately I’m guilty of being “self righteous and sanctimonious in the PAST😔. It’s a ugly characteristic to have especially when professing Christ is in our life.
It wasn’t until I found myself in several situations I never saw myself getting into…but did and it was difficult getting out. Because of my behavior I suffered and although forgiven, my behavior came with a price. God was far from being pleased with me. I’m grateful to God I didn’t receive the punishment I probably should have. If we all are being honest I’m sure we all will concur. Hallelujah it’s my PAST!!!🙌🏾
I’m humbled and grateful GOD FORGAVE ME!!!
So here’s the Nugget

We definitely shouldn’t make ANY excuses for one another’s faults or negative behaviors. Nor is it for any of us to judge or conversate about. It’s God’s business. In order to receive correction, grace, mercy and forgiveness we, the individual have to acknowledge we are in need and ask God. Then we in return must be willing to extend to others allowing God to handle His business. In the meantime Hush our mouths. Keep our thoughts and opinions to ourselves. Because it could be any of us and more than likely, it was some of us. God is OUR judge. Let’s PRAY for one another as we give God’s truth and instructions with love. Praying for the will of God to be done in our lives and that our will, lines up with His . ***Remembering there go US if it wasn’t for Christ💜
