🤔Sometimes when God showed up through signs, I’ve mistaken its warning and sadly missed it because I was in “myself. ”
However,there were times when God spoke directly with clarity and I knew His voice and reached out because I didn’t want Him to pass me by. I realize God is intentional and a great orchestrator strategically working in the atmosphere on our behalf. When He takes His time to speak to us. He doesn’t have to repeat Himself. Therefore, its always in our best interest to heed whatever He is saying. In today’s reading 1Sam 8-10 God specifically tells Samuel to warn Israel what would happen if they have a king. God gave detail of the unfair treatment they would receive. Omgoodness God was CLEAR and immediately after the warning they replied they wanted a king like all the other nations. WHAT😳
I admit I said ” they were foolish 😔and thought about my foolishness and disobedience at times. I have to be honest though. I really don’t believe I would have missed God’s warning that time. He was so clear. I believe I would have been the “NAY”vote. My prayer: God please help me to hear, listen , obey and not be into “myself” and make foolish decisions or allow ANYONE to sway me. Give me what I need NOT what I want NO matter how desperately I want it,
because I don’t want to miss you ANYMORE in this life AmenðŸ˜. #OhHowHeLovesMe
